Position Summary:
The Controls Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of control systems for manufacturing and industrial processes. You will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to assist in automation projects, troubleshoot control systems, and ensure optimal equipment performance.

We are seeking a technically strong entry-level engineer who has basic programming knowledge and is comfortable writing code. While prior controls experience is beneficial, we can train the right candidate on controls-specific programming and industrial automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and development of control systems using PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA platformsSupport programming, testing, and debugging of automation systemsCollaborate with senior engineers to implement control system solutions for new and existing equipmentTroubleshoot electrical and control system issues to minimize downtimeParticipate in system commissioning, startup, and validation activitiesCreate and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and specificationsAssist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency, reliability, and safetyWork with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and production staffEnsure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related fieldBasic programming experience and the ability to write, understand, and troubleshoot codeExperience gained through coursework, projects, internships, co-ops, or professional experience is acceptableAbility and willingness to learn PLC programming and industrial automation technologiesFamiliarity with PLC programming, HMI/SCADA systems, or industrial automation concepts is a plusUnderstanding of electrical systems, control theory, and engineering fundamentalsAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawingsEffective communication and teamwork skillsExposure to manufacturing, robotics, motion control, machine vision, or industrial communication protocols is preferredBenefitsCompetitive SalaryMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Insurance401kPaid Time OffHoliday Pay
