submissions and program launches, and partners closely with customers, engineering, and suppliers to ensure product and process quality at every stage — backed by an outstanding benefits package and long-term career stability. Key Responsibilities Customer & Supplier Quality Ensure all customer and supplier concerns (external and internal) are effectively contained, with permanent corrective action in place to prevent reoccurrence. Deal with customer rejects and problems, taking the necessary steps to rectify concerns. Deal with customers and engineering on advanced quality issues and programs, providing direction where required. Attend meetings as requested by customers and translate requirements into plant systems and procedures. Review and approve supplier PPAP packages and follow up for resubmission as required. Monitor supplier performance, develop new suppliers, and assist with supplier improvement plans to ensure corrective actions are implemented on schedule. Program Launch & Documentation (APQP/PPAP) Review Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), Significant Characteristics (SC), and Key Product Characteristics (KPC) with customers on new programs to address quality issues. Coordinate and prepare sample submission packages (PPAP), including all pertinent documents per customer requirements. Prepare and revise Failure Mode Effect Analyses (FMEA), Process Flow Diagrams, and Process Control Plans for assigned programs. Review fixture designs to ensure parts are properly located per GD&T and that fixtures pass required variable data and attribute checks. Coordinate process capability studies to verify product/process capability at launch. Assist with the design of experiments and DVP&R as required. Investigation, Analysis & Continuous Improvement Investigate substandard results and research product defects to recommend changes in materials or processes. Conduct investigations on non-conformances and recommend corrective action to prevent reoccurrence. Analyze SPC data and assist in improving manufacturing process capability. Perform dimensional checks, capability studies, Gauge R&R studies, and audits to support customer concerns, APQP, and PPAP requirements. Review and analyze CMM layout reports and recommend changes for successful PPAP submission. Facilitate quality-related training and develop training materials as required, including for new program launches (e.g., quality guides, control plans). Supervise the corporate testing laboratory and all related activities. Plan and perform internal audits across all company facilities. Own warranty returns and high-mileage vehicle review reporting, analysis, and follow-up. Develop and achieve high-quality customer service at customer shipping locations; support new product launches and serve as customer assembly plant liaison. Safety & Compliance Contribute to a safe, clean, and comfortable work environment consistent with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and 5S discipline (Simplify, Separate, Sanitize, Standardize, Support). Ensure full compliance with applicable U.S. and/or state laws while representing the company or using company-provided equipment. Qualifications Experience 3-5 years of experience in a Quality role within a manufacturing/automotive environment. Understanding of Quality Systems, PPAP, and APQP requirements. Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), Significant Characteristics (SC), customer-specific requirements, and various test methods. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) body of knowledge preferred. Education College degree specializing in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Metallurgical Engineering. Skills & Knowledge Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Effective problem-solving (8D) and decision-making skills. Ability to read blueprint drawings. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and similar software. Ability to conduct effective training sessions. Pay:

$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
