In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our production processes and supply chain. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement initiatives, uphold compliance with industry standards, and foster strong supplier relationships. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems aligned with industry standards such as
AS9100, ISO 13485, ISO 9001, IATF 16949
2016, and GMP regulations to ensure regulatory and legal compliance. Lead root cause analysis and defect resolution efforts utilizing tools like Six Sigma methodologies and statistical analysis software such as Minitab to identify process improvements. Conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and ongoing vendor quality assurance activities to ensure suppliers meet quality standards in production and sourcing requirements. Oversee process engineering initiatives including APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and lean manufacturing principles to optimize manufacturing workflows. Manage quality control inspections, data analysis, and quality assurance programs within manufacturing operations to uphold product integrity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project management tasks related to quality systems enhancements and supply chain improvements. Utilize enterprise systems such as AS400 for data management and reporting to monitor quality metrics and supplier performance. Qualifications Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a focus on quality assurance within manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of industry standards including
AS9100, ISO 13485, IATF 16949
2016, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), FDA regulations, and related regulatory/legal compliance standards. Demonstrated expertise in quality systems management, root cause analysis, defect resolution, and process engineering. Proficiency with statistical tools like Minitab and familiarity with GD&T principles for mechanical measurement accuracy. Experience managing supplier relationships through vendor quality assurance programs and sourcing strategies. Background in lean manufacturing, supply chain management, assembly processes, and engineering data analysis. Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives effectively.
