Job Description:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes supporting prototype, low-volume, and medium-volume production. This role focuses on improving efficiency, product quality, and manufacturing performance while supporting new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who is passionate about continuous improvement and thrives in a cross-functional environment spanning
Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production What You Will Do:
Process Development & Optimization Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for electronic assemblies Improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and eliminate bottlenecks using Lean manufacturing principles Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and manufacturing workflows Design production workstations, tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment Support AOI, conformal coating, and other automated manufacturing processes Perform Gage R&R, process capability studies, root cause analysis, and Design of Experiments (DOE) Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams to support new product introductions and ongoing manufacturing improvements Support capital equipment projects while maintaining safety and quality standards Quality & Process Engineering Support AOI, conformal coating, and other automated manufacturing processes Perform Gage R&R, process capability studies, root cause analysis, and Design of Experiments (DOE) Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams to support new product introductions and ongoing manufacturing improvements Support capital equipment projects while maintaining safety and quality standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience Experience with Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and statistical analysis Knowledge of CAD, manufacturing tooling, automation, and production processes Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills Preferred Qualifications Manufacturing engineering experience in electronics, aerospace, or defense manufacturing Experience with
AS9100, ISO 9001, IPC
standards, or electronics manufacturing Who Succeeds in This Role A hands-on engineer who enjoys working on the production floor, not just at a desk Passionate about continuous improvement and eliminating inefficiency Analytical and data-driven when solving process and quality problems A clear communicator who collaborates well across engineering, quality, and production teams Organized and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
