Salary Range:
$22.00•$26.00/hour (pending experience) with $1.00hr premium
Hours:
Monday•Friday / 4pm•2am MUST be able to train on 1st shift This position is responsible for meeting the goals and objectives of the organization by operating and maintaining pouch machinery used in the manufacturing process, in addition to, ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily. Safely sets up, operates, and monitors pouch machinery and equipment as intended and needed to meet customer and production goals. Completes pouch machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation. Monitors the production process, inspects and tests materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols, to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are met. Verifies and tracks all materials for inventory and work in progress regulations. Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently. Trains and provides guidance to machine assistants and new crew members. Keeps machinery and surrounding areas organized by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness requirements. All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS HS/GED
required; HS/GED preferred 2-4 years' experience in a related field experience in a related field required. This position has no leadership duties. Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information. Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines. Hearing protection, safety shoes and vision protection required. This role operates primarily in a manufacturing environment. Employee may be exposed to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, and moderate noise levels.
