In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the remanufacturing process of heavy-duty truck components, including differentials, transmissions, and driveshafts. You may be involved in disassembling components, inspecting and preparing parts, or rebuilding and assembling components to meet our quality standards. Essential Job Functions Disassemble and tear down heavy-duty truck components, including differentials, transmissions, and driveshafts. Clean, inspect, and prepare components and parts for the remanufacturing process. Identify worn, damaged, or defective parts and communicate any concerns to the appropriate team member. Assist with rebuilding, assembling, and testing components according to established procedures and quality standards. Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently. Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality guidelines throughout the remanufacturing process. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Meet production goals while maintaining quality and accuracy. Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to ensure an efficient workflow. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in automotive, diesel, mechanical, manufacturing, or remanufacturing environments is a plus. Mechanical aptitude and an interest in working with tools, equipment, and mechanical components. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable, motivated, and willing to learn new skills. Previous experience using hand tools, power tools, or mechanical equipment is preferred but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday. Ability to lift and move materials and components as required, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to safely operate tools and equipment after appropriate training.
