The Production Tech I plays a vital role in the manufacturing of products. This is an entry level position with opportunities to learn new skills and grow within the company, assisting with the operation of a bottling line that fills, seals, labels, and packages product for retail sales.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify, address and report any defects or quality issues to the manager on duty
Learn, comprehend and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Understand and comply with warehouse sanitation standards and keep work areas clean and organized
Understand and complete sanitation and sterilization processes for bottling line prior to starting the bottling process
Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation
Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with Cascade Spirits good manufacturing practices
Rotate positions on the bottling line including filling, sealing, labeling and packaging
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
Ability to work extended hours and overtime as required
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
One year of manufacturing, packaging or distribution experience (Spirits industry preferred)
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to do repetitive motions repeatedly Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds at times.
Pay scale:
Starting at $20/hour, with quarterly bonus potential and 100% employer-paid employee benefits. Work schedule is Monday-Thursday, 10 hour shifts. Off Friday-Sunday.
