Job Description
Job Summary:
The Production Tech I plays a vital role in the manufacturing of products. This is an entry level position with opportunities to learn new skills and grow within the company, assisting with the operation of a bottling line that fills, seals, labels, and packages product for retail sales.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify, address and report any defects or quality issues to the manager on duty
- Learn, comprehend and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Understand and comply with warehouse sanitation standards and keep work areas clean and organized
- Understand and complete sanitation and sterilization processes for bottling line prior to starting the bottling process
- Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with Cascade Spirits good manufacturing practices
- Rotate positions on the bottling line including filling, sealing, labeling and packaging
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Ability to work extended hours and overtime as required
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of manufacturing, packaging or distribution experience (Spirits industry preferred)
