Growing Company- Growing Team-Endless Opportunities Service Foreman The Service Foreman supervises and coordinates the daily activities of technicians and service staff within the shop. This role ensures all service work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining quality standards and supporting the Service Manager with operational oversight and team leadership. ________________________________________ Core Focus Daily shop supervision and workflow coordination Quality, safety, and efficiency oversight Technician support, training, and performance guidance ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Supervise daily shop operations and technician activities Assign work orders and monitor progress to ensure timely completion Provide technical guidance, training, and support to technicians Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and safety compliance Assist with diagnosing complex technical issues as needed Report operational concerns, staffing needs, and performance metrics to the Service Manager Enforce shop safety rules and maintain a clean, organized work environment Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction ________________________________________ Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred Minimum of 5 years of hands-on service experience in a related industry Prior supervisory, lead, or foreman experience preferred Strong knowledge of service procedures, equipment, and safety protocols Ability to read and interpret work orders, schematics, and technical documentation ________________________________________ Service Standards & Expectations Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency Lead by example with professionalism and accountability Foster teamwork, communication, and technician development Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations ________________________________________ Success in This Role Looks Like Smooth daily shop operations with minimal delays or rework High-quality repairs completed safely and on time Strong technician engagement and performance Consistent adherence to safety and quality standards ________________________________________ Work Environment Service shop or maintenance facility Frequent exposure to noise, machinery, equipment, and vehicles Regular interaction with technicians, service advisors, and management ________________________________________ Physical & Other Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
