Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with proven automation machine design experience to lead the design and development of custom automated machinery and manufacturing systems.
Job Duties:
Lead the design and development of custom automation equipment and machineryCreate 3D models, detailed drawings, and BOMs using SolidWorksReview customer requirements and develop machine concepts and engineering solutionsDesign systems incorporating robotics, servo motion, pneumatics, hydraulics, and other automation technologiesPerform engineering calculations, stress analysis, and component sizingSelect materials, components, and manufacturing methods for machine designsLead design reviews and collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teamsSupport machine build, testing, startup, debugging, and commissioning activitiesEnsure designs meet performance, quality, and safety requirementsManage multiple projects and priorities while meeting project timelinesIdentify opportunities for design improvements, standardization, and cost reductionMentor junior engineers and provide technical leadershipExperience with robotics, motion control, pneumatics, and industrial automationPE License, PMP Certification, or Master's DegreeThis role is best suited for engineers with strong automation machine design experience, solid machine design fundamentals, and proven SolidWorks expertise. Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and proven experience designing custom automated machinery.
Qualifications:
