Full-TimeAbout the RoleGrowing packaging equipment company seeking a hands-on Director of Engineering & Project Management to lead engineering, equipment customization, project execution, installation, and commissioning.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead packaging equipment selection, configuration, customization, and integration.

Manage projects from specification through installation and commissioning.

Coordinate with equipment manufacturers on technical requirements, FATs, modifications, and quality.

Provide technical support to sales and customers.

Manage schedules, budgets, resources, and project risks.

Drive equipment performance, reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Travel domestically and occasionally internationally.

QualificationsDegree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Packaging Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.2+ years of experience in packaging machinery, automation, capital equipment, or industrial equipment.

Experience with equipment installation, commissioning, and supplier coordination.

Ability to use AutoCAD, Fusion 360, Inventor, or SolidWorks.

Previous experience working in food manufacturing or food processing facilities preferred.

Basic electrical knowledge and understanding of industrial controls/automation.

Strong project management, communication, leadership, and customer-facing skills.

Willingness to travel.
