Position Summary We're looking for a Controls Engineer to join our team developing control algorithms for vehicle systems using Model-Based Design (MBD) methodology in MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow. This is a great fit for someone building a career in controls engineering who wants hands-on experience across the full development cycle, working alongside experienced engineers. Responsibilities Develop and test control algorithms in MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow under the guidance of senior team members Apply Model-Based Design methodology, from requirements through auto-code generation Support calibration and validation of vehicle speed control systems Assist with drive-by-wire system development and testing Participate in bench and vehicle testing, and help troubleshoot issues found during validation Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, and test engineers in an agile team environment Track work and manage issues using Git and Jira Grow technical depth in automotive controls through mentorship and applied project work Required Qualifications Working knowledge of MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow (coursework, internship, or project experience acceptable) Exposure to Model-Based Design methodology Preferred Qualifications Coursework or project experience related to drive-by-wire systems Exposure to vehicle speed control system concepts Familiarity with New Eagle products or the Raptor development toolchain Nice to Have Familiarity with high-voltage systems General Requirements Some experience with version control and issue-tracking tools and workflows (Git, Jira) Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment Strong desire to learn and grow technical skills in a mentorship-supported environment
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
