Key duties encompass conducting routine inspections and verification of welding processes and credentials, performing certification tests on welders, and generating comprehensive Welder Qualification Records and related documentation. The role also involves equipment checks, interpreting fabrication blueprints, and contributing to the sustained efficacy of the Quality Assurance Manual. Occasional travel is necessary. The ideal candidate holds a current AWS CWI or AWI certification and has a hands-on background in manufacturing and welding. Proficiency in documentation, quality assurance, and Microsoft Office is essential. Organizational skills and personal accountability are highly valued.
