Job Description:

The Party Chief will lead the activities of land survey crew, as directed by project managers and under the supervision of the Professional Land Surveyor. The Party Chief will be a leader in our company values while maintaining internal and external client engagement and satisfaction. Activities and Responsibilities:

• Supervising the work of the land survey crew
• Recording and maintaining field notes/records and job specific calculations
• Checking, uploading and downloading survey data
• Communicating with clients and project managers

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to regularly work outside in all weather conditions including heat and cold, wet, and muddy conditions, and precarious places.
• Ability to navigate to and travel from jobsite to jobsite, locally, and within the surrounding parishes.
• Ability to lift equipment or objects weighing 50 to 75 pounds.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED with field surveying experience
• Knowledgeable in the use of conventional and GPS survey equipment
• Valid and current driver's license Expected hours: 40.
