The Party Chief will lead the activities of land survey crew, as directed by project managers and under the supervision of the Professional Land Surveyor. The Party Chief will be a leader in our company values while maintaining internal and external client engagement and satisfaction. The ideal candidate for this position is someone that is excited to work in a team environment, loves the outdoors, and is eager to learn and grow his or her career.Activities and Responsibilities:
- Supervising the work of the land survey crew
- Recording and maintaining field notes/records and job specific calculations
- Checking, uploading and downloading survey data
- Communicating with clients and project managers
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to regularly work outside in all weather conditions including heat and cold, wet, and muddy conditions, and precarious places.
- Ability to navigate to and travel from jobsite to jobsite, locally, and within the surrounding parishes.
- Ability to lift equipment or objects weighing 50 to 75 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED with field surveying experience
- Knowledgeable in the use of conventional and GPS survey equipment
- Valid and current driver's license Expected hours: 40.
