Experienced Land Surveyor

Job Description

Experienced Land Surveyor Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Land Surveyor to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional with strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities who can oversee survey projects from field data collection through final plan preparation. Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and execute a variety of surveying projects, including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, and construction stakeout
  • Oversee and coordinate field crews to ensure accurate and efficient data collection
  • Perform and/or supervise construction layout and stakeout for site development projects
  • Review and process survey data and ensure quality control of deliverables
  • Prepare and review survey plans, plats, and legal descriptions
  • Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania surveying standards and regulations
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies Qualifications
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Pennsylvania preferred (or ability to obtain)
  • Minimum of 5+ years of progressive surveying experience
  • Strong knowledge of boundary law, survey principles, and field procedures
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred) and survey data processing software
  • Experience managing field crews and coordinating multiple projects
  • Experience with GPS, robotic total stations, and data collectors
  • Ability to mentor junior staff and contribute to team development What We Offer

Pay:
$70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
