What they do
A Surveyor measures the surface of the Earth and collects data used to make maps, set boundaries, and determine the shape and contour of sections of land. Uses global positioning system (GPS) and global information system (GIS) technology to make measurements. May specialize in measurements to determine airspace boundaries; may conduct marine or hydrographic surveys to measure bodies of water and determine shorelines and water flow and depth.

Job Description
- Plan, manage, and execute a variety of surveying projects, including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, and construction stakeout
- Oversee and coordinate field crews to ensure accurate and efficient data collection
- Perform and/or supervise construction layout and stakeout for site development projects
- Review and process survey data and ensure quality control of deliverables
- Prepare and review survey plans, plats, and legal descriptions
- Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania surveying standards and regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies Qualifications
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Pennsylvania preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive surveying experience
- Strong knowledge of boundary law, survey principles, and field procedures
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred) and survey data processing software
- Experience managing field crews and coordinating multiple projects
- Experience with GPS, robotic total stations, and data collectors
- Ability to mentor junior staff and contribute to team development What We Offer

Pay:
