Onsite Position Your Responsibilities As a Quality Engineer for JD Seeding Group•Moline located in Moline, IL, you will: Provide tactical quality engineering support for our new Row Line assembly department Lead containment activities and problem investigations for possible quality issues Launch corrective actions to improve internal (factory) and external (customer) quality Participate in quality improvement meetings that support factory and customer concern Verify and improve manufacturing process controls. Partner with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Management, Product Engineering, and inspectors to improve product quality, reduce defects, and strengthen quality culture across the factory. VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position What Skills You Need Experience in manufacturing, quality engineering, process engineering, or a related technical field. Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills, including corrective action development and implementation. Ability to work with cross-functional teams, influence without direct authority, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Effective communication, organization, with proficiency in Microsoft Office What Makes You Stand Out Experience with quality management systems, such as
ISO 9001
Experience with data analysis skills, AI, PowerBI, or programming Quality planning, quality control, or quality improvement experience Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Leader Standard Work, Daily Management Data analytics Familiarity with John Deere manufacturing systems Education Bachelor's degree in an Engineering program or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
