Quality Engineer Details:
Direct Hire position $90,000.00 to $93,000.00 /annually First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm) Serve as the primary quality contact for customers, addressing quality concerns, managing scorecards, and supporting customer launches. Develop, implement, and maintain quality tools and documentation, including PFMEAs, Control Plans, PPAPs, and inspection instructions. Monitor and improve manufacturing processes through SPC, process capability studies (Ppk), Minitab analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and lead corrective actions with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Support
IATF 16949
compliance, participate in audits, and drive supplier quality and overall Quality Operating System (QOS) improvements.
Quality Engineer Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering required for candidates to be hired under the official Quality Engineer title; candidates without an Engineering degree may be considered for a QA Specialist title based on qualifications and experience. 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, SPC, root cause analysis, and

requirements. Experience using quality and statistical analysis tools such as Minitab, along with blueprint reading and metrology principles. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer-facing skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
