Akkodis is seeking a Simulation Engineer General for a Contract with a client in Wayne, MI. The ideal candidate will support and optimize manufacturing processes through continuous improvement initiatives, process audits, and root cause analysis.

Rate Range:

$30/Hour to $32/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Simulation Engineer General Responsibilities include:

Support and optimize manufacturing process engineering activities for Final Assembly operations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and throughput. Analyze process and quality concerns, perform root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions. Lead process audits, ergonomic evaluations, and compliance activities to ensure adherence to operational standards. Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and quality control procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve assembly issues, reduce variability, and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED required; bachelor's degree in engineering preferred. Minimum 5+ years of related manufacturing/process engineering experience. Strong background in process validation, root cause analysis, data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 8D/5 Why problem-solving, and Green Belt training preferred. If you are interested in this role, then please click

Pay Details:
