$135K•150K + 15% Annual Bonus | Relocation Eligible Build the financial foundation of a next-generation semiconductor manufacturing facility. A global leader in outsourced semiconductor packaging and test services is expanding its advanced manufacturing operations in Arizona and is looking for a Factory Plant Senior Accounting Manager to join the team. This is more than a traditional plant accounting position. You'll be a key financial partner to operations, engineering, and supply chain, helping establish and scale the accounting, costing, controls, and reporting infrastructure for a growing high-tech manufacturing facility. What You'll Own Plant Accounting & Financial Reporting Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities. Review journal entries and account reconciliations. Analyze balance sheet and income statement results and explain key fluctuations. Partner with corporate accounting on consolidation, technical accounting, and external reporting. Ensure financial reporting complies with U.S. GAAP and company policies. Cost & Inventory Accounting Oversee standard costing, cost rollups, and manufacturing variance analysis. Analyze labor, material, and overhead variances and partner with operations on cost improvement. Manage inventory valuation, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes. Ensure accurate accounting for WIP, finished goods, and scrap. Operational Finance Partner with plant leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Provide actionable insights into cost drivers, capacity utilization, and operational efficiency. Support CapEx planning, tracking, and fixed asset accounting. Help leadership make informed investment and operational decisions. Controls & Compliance Ensure compliance with SOX and internal control requirements. Support internal and external audits. Maintain strong controls over financial reporting, inventory, and fixed assets. Identify opportunities for automation and continuous process improvement. Leadership Opportunity This position will initially be an individual contributor role, with the opportunity to build and lead a team as the Arizona operation scales. For the right candidate, this role offers a potential succession path to the Controller position, providing significant long-term career growth. What We're Looking For We're seeking an accounting leader who combines strong technical accounting expertise with hands-on manufacturing finance experience. Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 8+ years of accounting/finance experience. Strong cost and inventory accounting experience. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls. Manufacturing accounting experience required. Advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. Experience with ERP/financial systems such as SAP or Oracle preferred. Location & Relocation The role will initially be based at a temporary Phoenix, AZ location while the new facility is under construction. Once operations begin, the position will transition to the Peoria, AZ facility. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates. Ready to Build What's Next?
