Job Description
Overview FT/40 hours a week - Monday-Friday. The Staff Accountant will perform duties in the accounting department and gain experience in the nonprofit sector. Responsibilities Bill accounts receivable clients for childcare and housing rent programs Accepting and applying payments to accounts receivable accounts and cash receipts Entering accounts payable invoices for business expenses Process bi-weekly payroll Assist in the reconciliation of end of month financial close Clerical/reception including answering phones and navigating and assisting clients as needed Tracking, organizing and ordering office and vending supplies Assist with other accounting and administrative responsibilities as applicable to the full job experience Qualifications Bachelor's degree in the field of accounting. Familiar with Microsoft programs including but not limited to Word and Excel.
