Job Description
Ravin Crossbows, the world leader in high-performance crossbow technology, is searching for a Sr. Staff Accountant to join our team. Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This individual will be responsible for meeting deadlines for the monthly close process, as well as for ongoing accounting responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess experience in financial accounting and demonstrate technical proficiency with various accounting software. Duties and Responsibilities Perform senior-level accounting activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis Assist in the review of month-end results to ensure proper coding of transactions Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures Maintain internal controls Provide analysis and support to finance and operations management Assist in the development and/or improvement of accounting processes and facilitation of ongoing activity to implement improvements Provide support for weekly cycle counting Process Payroll Contribute to department and organization with special projects as assigned Required Education, Skills and Experience A minimum of five years of professional experience in accounting or finance roles with a focus on corporate or financial accounting. Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field Minimum of 5-10 years of accounting experience. Manufacturing environment preferred Working knowledge of accounting principles and US GAAP Payroll Experience (Paychex beneficial) Mature judgement in handling sensitive data and problem solving Ability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines Highly motivated with a desire to participate, learn and contribute Knowledge and proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Products Working knowledge of ERP Systems (Oracle NetSuite ERP beneficial) Excellent communication skills Ravin Crossbows is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
