Core Return Specialist -

Full-Time We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Core Return Specialist for an automotive transmission facility in Plant City, FL. This position is responsible for receiving, tracking, and inspecting core transmissions returned by customers and helping ensure that core credits and refunds are processed accurately. Responsibilities Receive and document incoming core transmission returns Maintain accurate logs and records of returned cores Inspect returned transmissions for condition and eligibility Identify normal wear versus excessive or unbuildable damage Verify that returned cores meet requirements for customer credit or refund Accurately document inspection results and core status Assist with processing core credits and refunds Communicate any discrepancies or issues with returned cores Keep core return records organized and up to date Work with other departments as needed to resolve return or credit issues Qualifications Automotive, transmission, parts, warehouse, or mechanical experience is preferred Ability to identify and understand basic automotive or mechanical components is a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable working with computers and maintaining records Good communication and organizational skills Ability to learn core eligibility and inspection guidelines Dependable with a strong work ethic Pay $17.00-$20.00 per hour , depending on experience.
