Job Description
AC&R Specialists is a growing mechanical contractor specializing in commercial HVAC and industrial refrigeration. We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable/Billing Clerk to join our small, close-knit office team. What You'll Do Prepare and issue customer invoices for service, construction, and parts sales Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due balances Post customer payments and reconcile discrepancies Communicate with customers and project managers to resolve billing questions Assist with month-end closing and AR reporting Maintain accurate, organized billing records What You Bring Associate's degree or equivalent experience 2+ years of accounts receivable/billing experience Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience with ComputerEase or similar construction/ERP accounting software a plus Strong attention to detail and follow-through Comfortable working independently in a small-office environment Why AC&R Specialists Small company where your work is visible and valued 401(k) with match Health and dental insurance Stable, established local employer
