Accounting Position We are hiring for an accounting position for our Lake Charles area CPA firm located in Southwest Louisiana. This accounting position is responsible for 40-50 small business clients providing payroll services, sales tax preparation, general ledger accounting, and accounting system maintenance. Flexible work environment allowed for the right candidate getting their work done. Required Job Skills

• Proficency with QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online
• Working knowledge of payroll processing, payroll taxes, and payroll reporting
• Working knowledge of sales tax reporting, and sales tax compliance
• Accounting knowledge up to completion of financial statements for review

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years accounting and office experience, preferably public accounting
• A 2 year Associate Degree or 4 year degree Accounting is preferred, but not required
• Must have high speed dedicated internet and defined dedicated workspace
