Responsibilities Review and process invoices for payment in a timely and accurate manner Verify invoices have the proper approvals, supporting documentation, and general ledger coding Reconcile vendor statements and research and resolve discrepancies Prepare and process vendor payments Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation for payments Communicate directly with vendors regarding payment questions, discrepancies, and account issues Research outstanding invoices, credits, and vendor balances Assist with the month-end closing process and prepare necessary reports Work closely with other departments to ensure invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time Maintain organized Accounts Payable records and documentation Identify opportunities to improve Accounts Payable processes and efficiency Assist the Accounting department with additional duties as needed Requirements Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable experience Minimum 2 years of automotive dealership experience Minimum 2 years of CDK experience High school diploma or equivalent required Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred Strong understanding of accounting principles and Accounts Payable procedures Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel Experience working with accounting software Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment
