Key Responsibilities for the Chief Financial Officer (CFO): Lead all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash management, and internal controls. Develop and execute financial strategies that support organizational goals and long-term sustainability. Present financial performance, insights, and recommendations to executive leadership and the Board. Oversee compliance, nonprofit reporting requirements, grant funding, restricted funds, and the annual audit process. Mentor and develop the finance and accounting team while partnering with department leaders on budgeting and resource planning. Qualifications for the Chief Financial Officer (CFO): Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. Significant financial leadership experience, ideally within a nonprofit environment. Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning. Experience working with executive leadership teams, Boards of Directors, and nonprofit funding structures, including grants and restricted funds.
