Job Description We are seeking a Financial Analyst Lead to support a large-scale utility asset retirement initiative for PG&E. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for project coordination while remaining hands-on in processing activities. The ideal candidate will combine strong SAP and financial processing experience with the ability to oversee workflow allocation, quality controls, reporting, and team coordination. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary coordination point between PG&E and the project team. Allocate and track daily work assignments across analysts. Process asset retirement orders and complete required settlement documentation. Update SAP records and validate transaction accuracy. Monitor team throughput and progress against project milestones. Compile daily and weekly status reporting, including backlog and completion metrics. Support and oversee QA/QC processes to ensure compliance with established SOPs. Review exception cases, discrepancies, and resolution notes. Ensure adherence to data integrity standards and documentation requirements. Maintain detailed logs of quality findings and corrective actions. Partner with project leadership to identify process improvements and drive efficiency. Skills and Requirements Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in financial operations, capital project accounting, asset management, or utility financial documentation. Experience working within SAP or similar ERP systems. Strong understanding of data validation, QA/QC processes, and financial controls. Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets. Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume processing environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience coordinating with stakeholders and leading small project teams. Preferred Qualifications Utility industry experience, preferably supporting PG&E or similar organizations. Experience with asset retirement, settlements, capital project accounting, or order processing. Prior experience developing reports, SOPs, or operational metrics.
