Job Description
$45 per hour Salisbury, NC Contract
- Hybrid - 3 days office, 2 days remote
- Duration: 3 Months contract
- We are seeking an experienced
- FP&A Analyst
- to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis across the organization. This role will provide financial insights and recommendations to support business and strategic decisions. The position will work closely with business leaders and the FP&A team to analyze performance, identify trends, and improve financial processes.
- Key Responsibilities:
- + Manage annual budgets, forecasts, latest estimates, long-term planning, and financial reporting.
+ Partner with business leaders to establish and monitor financial targets and business plans.
+ Analyze financial results, variances, trends, risks, and opportunities and communicate key insights to leadership.
+ Support period-end close activities and provide clear explanations of financial performance.
+ Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools.
+ Prepare monthly financial reports and presentations for leadership and executive stakeholders.
+ Use advanced Excel, Power BI, and other analytics or automation tools to improve reporting and forecasting.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and streamline recurring activities.
+ Support FP&A initiatives, team meetings, and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Qualifications:
- + •3-6 years•of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, or a related field.
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
+ Advanced
- Excel and PowerPoint
- skills; Power BI experience preferred. + Experience with financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and financial modeling. + Experience with analytics/reporting tools;
- SAP/BPC
- experience is preferred. + Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders. + Ability to analyze large and complex datasets and present clear, actionable insights. + Experience preparing financial reports and presentations for leadership. + Strong collaboration and business partnering skills.
- Preferred Skills:
- + Power BI or other data visualization tools. + Alteryx, Python, or SQL exposure. + Experience with process automation. + Retail or consumer goods industry experience.
