Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor/Front Desk Associate, where you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless overnight operations and exceptional guest experiences. This energetic position offers the opportunity to combine your hospitality expertise with problem-solving skills, creating a welcoming environment for guests while maintaining the integrity of hotel procedures. As the first line of contact during nighttime hours, you will oversee guest check-ins and check-outs, handle inquiries, and ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help uphold our reputation for outstanding service and hospitality excellence. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms. Manage overnight reservations, modifications, cancellations, and billing processes with precision. Conduct nightly audits to verify financial transactions, reconcile accounts, and prepare reports for management review. Respond promptly to guest requests, inquiries, and concerns via phone or in person, providing exceptional customer service at all times. Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting property inspections, and following hotel emergency procedures when necessary. Handle all incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, directing inquiries appropriately and providing accurate information about hotel services. Document incidents, shift reports, and guest interactions thoroughly to ensure clear communication among team members and management. Skills Strong background in hospitality management with experience in front desk operations and night audit procedures. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued to effectively communicate with diverse guests. Proficiency in hospitality reservation systems and property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or comparable software. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations, problem-solving, and conflict resolution. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest and staff security during overnight shifts. Effective phone communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette to handle guest inquiries smoothly. Previous resort or hotel experience is preferred to understand the nuances of hospitality service delivery in a fast-paced environment.
