We are looking for an experienced Document Reviewer to support transaction monitoring and authorization risk strategy for a card portfolio in San Francisco, California. This is a Contract position expected to run for 2 months, with potential for extension, and it is best suited for someone who can operate independently in a fast-moving environment. The role centers on strengthening fraud controls, improving approval outcomes, and using data-driven insight to refine real-time decisioning. This is 100% remote but you must be open to working OT and your schedule will be Sat-Wed.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee real-time transaction monitoring activities and make informed authorization decisions on flagged card activity.
• Develop and refine fraud detection rules by adjusting thresholds, spending behavior logic, and merchant category controls.
• Examine transaction patterns to uncover new fraud risks and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
• Optimize fraud performance by reducing loss exposure while limiting unnecessary customer declines.
• Collaborate with teams across product, risk, and operations to improve authorization outcomes and fraud prevention processes.
• Use fraud platforms and decisioning tools to manage rule execution, monitor alerts, and enhance detection capabilities.
• Apply knowledge of card authorization workflows, decline responses, and interchange-related factors to strengthen decision quality.
• Support a dynamic operating environment by adapting quickly to evolving fraud trends, priorities, and business needs.
