Job Description Standard costing:

build, maintain, and analyze standard costs (material, labor, overhead); lead variance analysis (PPV, usage, labor, overhead absorption) Monthly close and forecasting of plant financial results Annual budgeting process for the facility KPI dashboards and monthly variance reporting Inventory controls and the cycle counting program ROI analysis for capital spending requests Monthly financial presentations to Corporate Leadership Partnering with department managers on P&L interpretation and cost optimization Site-level financial audits and year-end inventory/external audit engagements Capital project tax abatement tracking and R D/trial cost documentation MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years in a manufacturing/plant financial role, with hands-on standard costing and variance analysis experience

• food or CPG manufacturing a plus ERP proficiency (IFS a plus, not required) Strong Excel/analytical skills; comfortable building models and dashboards from scratch Ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance managers and influence cross-functionally Project management skills
