About the Role The Controller is responsible for overseeing and improving the daily financial operations of the company to ensure efficiency and profitability. Responsibilities Oversee daily business financial operations, ensuring efficient execution of company processes and procedures. Monitor operational performance and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and customer service. Develop, maintain, and enforce operational policies, procedures, and standard operating practices. Analyze business metrics and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements. Collaborate with sales, purchasing, warehouse, and accounting teams to support company objectives. Ensure inventory accuracy through audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes. Monitor employee performance, staffing levels, and operational workflows. Drive continuous improvement projects and technology adoption to enhance business operations. Resolve operational issues quickly while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Periodic travel between company locations, vendors, or customer sites as required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field preferred. 5+ years of operations management experience, preferably in wholesale distribution, manufacturing, or logistics. Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, transportation, and process improvement. Proven leadership experience managing teams and multiple departments. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with ERP systems, inventory software, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
