A well-established automotive dealer group is seeking an experienced Automotive Controller to lead dealership accounting and financial operations in Maryland. Key Responsibilities Oversee financial reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting. Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliations, and month-end closing. Maintain compliance with established internal controls, accounting standards, and company procedures. Monitor dealership financial performance, cost controls, and inventory accounting. Analyze financial results and identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Partner with dealership leadership to support financial planning, business decisions, and performance goals. Ensure accurate, timely financial records and reports.

Qualifications Required:

At least 3 years of experience as an Automotive Controller at a franchised dealership. Strong knowledge of dealership accounting practices, financial reporting, and internal controls. Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
