Job Description
Controller Opportunity An established and growing organization is seeking an experienced Controller to lead its accounting and financial operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic, hands-on accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and partnering with leadership to support the company's financial success. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Coordinate annual audits and support tax reporting.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and operational efficiency.
- Support leadership with financial analysis and special projects. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- MBA and/or CPA desired.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including direct leadership responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience with ERP/accounting software, Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. What We're Looking For
