Role Description The Doctor of Audiology will provide comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology services in an on-site clinical setting located in New York, NY. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting hearing evaluations, interpreting test results, fitting and programming hearing aids and assistive listening devices, and providing counseling and education to patients and their families. The role also involves developing individualized treatment plans, performing follow-up care and adjustments, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed. Proficiency in hearing aid fitting, verification, programming, and follow-up care; familiarity with major hearing aid manufacturers and software. Strong patient counseling and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and support patients and families through care decisions. Commitment to person-centered, evidence-based care, with attention to detail and accurate clinical documentation. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced clinical environment. Prior clinical experience in private practice or medical audiology settings is preferred.
