Job Description

Make a positive impact as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting children and adolescents in a dynamic school environment. Acting as a key member of a collaborative special education team, youll have the opportunity to provide essential behavioral interventions and services to students in need, helping them achieve greater independence, improved communication, and academic success.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles Experience working with children or young adults in educational settings, particularly those with autism or behavioral challenges Ability to collect, record, and summarize behavioral data accurately Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to relate effectively with students, families, and school staff Ability to follow behavior intervention plans under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Strong organizational and time management skills
Role Responsibilities:
Implement one-on-one or small group ABA-based interventions as outlined in students treatment plans Record data on student progress and behaviors for review by supervisory staff Assist classroom teachers with strategies to manage challenging behaviors and promote positive reinforcement Maintain open, confidential, and professional communication with educational and clinical team members Support students in developing social, communication, and life skills within the school environment Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required for professional growth Take pride in helping students reach their potential through skilled behavioral support.
