This newly created position offers you the chance to work with elementary-aged students in a supportive school environment near Wheeling, IL. You'll act as a vital resource to help reset programs and support high needs students throughout a single building, without the burden of carrying a student caseload. With workdays running from 8:45am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday, youll have ample time to balance your professional and personal life. The assignment starts as soon as possible and runs through December 2026, with potential for extension based on needs and performance.
What We're Looking For:
Current certification as a BCBA Experience working within a school setting preferred Strong skills in behavior analysis, data interpretation, and intervention strategies Ability to collaborate with school staff to develop and monitor effective support plans Flexibility, creativity, and adaptability in meeting diverse student needs Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Offer general building-level behavioral support to high needs students Collaborate with school teams to implement and adapt programs Develop and model evidence-based interventions for challenging behaviors Provide coaching and guidance to paraprofessionals and teachers Collect data and monitor intervention fidelity Serve as a consultant across classrooms, rather than managing a caseload This role places you in a truly collaborative atmosphere with a chance to impact the lives of students while working alongside a passionate team of educators and specialists.
