A contract opportunity is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work in a dynamic elementary autism classroom setting. This role is essential in fostering a positive, supportive environment for students, and offers the chance to make a meaningful difference each day. The assignment is set to run through the end of May, with flexibility needed as classroom assignments and locations may change over the course of the school year.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Current, active Registered Behavior Technician certification is required Prior schools and behavior-specific experience is essential Willingness to complete district-specific fingerprinting requirements (upfront cost to candidate) Adaptable attitude and readiness to be reassigned as needed within the school year
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized behavioral intervention and support to students within an elementary autism classroom Collaborate with educators, parents, and supervisors to implement effective behavior plans Take accurate, timely data on student behavior and interventions Work closely with supervising BCBA, following outlined protocols and guidance Actively participate in team meetings and professional development when required
