Duties & Responsibilities:

Welcoming Patients
Scheduling Patients
Recording Patient Information / insurance
Checking Insurance Benefits and entering into patients accounts
Calling different dental offices to get records sent to our office
Contacting patients who need appointments (as identified by Drs. / Office Manager)
Making sure all consent forms are filled out
Confirming correct contact information on file
Scanning all necessary documents
Informing Clinical Staff of patients arriving
Creating ortho contracts
Collecting Co-pay / Balances
Posting procedures completed (which includes checking the correct doctor is assigned to the patient)
Scheduling any follow up appointments, if not adding patients to the recall list
Creating and presenting treatment plans
Managing AR report Peds/Ortho
Emailing and mailing patient statements
Checking Claim Status of outstanding claims
Contacting patients with outstanding balances
Cleaning duties, as required / assigned
Create and present treatment plans for both pediatric and orthodontic patients
Patient follow-up
