Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist during orthodontic procedures Place and remove archwires, ties, and other orthodontic appliances as permitted Take digital X-rays, photographs, and impressions/scans Assist with Invisalign and braces appointments Prepare treatment rooms and maintain proper sterilization and infection-control procedures Provide patients with oral hygiene and appliance-care instructions Document treatment accurately in patient charts Maintain instruments, supplies, and clinical areas Help keep the clinical schedule running efficiently and on time Provide a friendly and professional experience for patients and parents Work closely with the doctor, front office, and other clinical team members Qualifications Previous orthodontic dental assisting experience is
