Busy Periodontial office looking for an outstanding dental assistant. Must have years of experience, strong work ethic and the willingness to take on any task.

Duties:

• Assist the doctor during dental surgical procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, equipment and operatories
• Take digital dental x-rays
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Perform dental charting and documentation in electronic health record

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems
• Expert knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and instruments
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Compassionate and caring demeanor towards patients
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
