For Full time position (30-32 hrs, Mon-Thu): We seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team of 2 Prosthodontists (Specialists in Cosmetics mi and Implants).
You will work in a LOW stress environment with a low volume boutique style specialty practice. You will be required to do 50% front desk and 50% chairside assisting. You always be supported by a 2nd experienced lead dental assistant and another front desk person and office manager. Knowledge of surgical assisting is a huge plus+ Ability to help with Front Desk duties is another huge +. The ideal candidate must be reliable, humble, pleasant, background in dental assisting, and front office/receptionist customer service experience. This role requires a professional with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality service. Duties:
Support the dental team in providing excellent patient care, including preparing for appointments, taking vital signs, and maintaining a clean and organized treatment area.
Assist the dentist with procedures,
Maintain infection control standards and adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients.
Perform X-rays, as needed, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and addressing concerns from patients and their families.
Work effectively with other dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with dental receptionist tasks and participating in team meetings and training sessions.
Skills:
Certification in infection control and X-Rays
office can support you with this.
Experience with dental and oral surgeries and willing to perform at a higher quality
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and front desk responsibilities.
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in dental assisting or a related field preferred.
