Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), where your expertise will directly contribute to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, friendly environment. As an integral part of our clinical team, you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient flow, and ensure the highest standards of infection control and clinical confidentiality. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive setting dedicated to excellence Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following infection prevention management and aseptic techniques. Assist dentists chairside during various procedures such as oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry with precision and professionalism. Take and develop dental x-rays and medical imaging, ensuring accuracy while adhering to dental x-ray safety protocols. Manage patient records using patient management software like Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for clinical confidentiality policies. Monitor vital signs and medical documentation to support comprehensive patient care. Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care, and dental terminology to enhance their understanding and comfort. Maintain dental equipment including 3D scanners, dental sterilization procedures, and other clinical tools to ensure optimal operation. Support the dental reception by managing appointments, patient management software entries, and answering patient inquiries efficiently. Requirements Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant with current licensure or registration as required by local regulations. Proven experience in dental assisting within a general dentistry or specialty setting such as pediatric dentistry or oral surgery. Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for managing electronic health records effectively. Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to dental procedures. Hands-on experience with dental x-ray techniques, dental instrument processing, and infection control protocols including sterilization procedures. Familiarity with healthcare infection prevention and control standards including aseptic technique. Ability to perform chairside assisting using four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for patient management and collaboration with the clinical team. Pay:
$21.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
