Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment according to infection prevention management standards. Assist dentists chairside during a wide range of procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry. Take dental X-rays, including digital imaging such as 3D scans, ensuring accuracy and patient comfort while adhering to dental x-ray safety protocols. Manage patient information using cloud based patient management software such as Curve, ensuring all medical documentation and records are accurate and up-to-date in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform vital signs assessments and medical imaging when necessary to support comprehensive patient care. Educate patients on oral health practices, post-operative care, and treatment plans while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies. Support dental sterilization procedures by processing instruments using aseptic techniques and ensuring all dental equipment is properly maintained and sanitized. Collaborate with the dental team in four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency during procedures. Assist with medical coding related to dental procedures for accurate billing and insurance claims processing. Uphold healthcare infection prevention and control policies consistently across all clinical activities. Experience Previous experience working in a dental clinic environment is required, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, or oral surgery settings. Proficiency in EMR systems such as Curve, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic is highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and dental equipment operation is essential. Hands-on experience with dental instrument processing, sterilization procedures, X-ray techniques (including digital imaging), and infection control protocols is necessary. Familiarity with medical documentation standards, medical coding practices related to dentistry, and healthcare infection prevention policies will set you apart. Ability to perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs accurately and supporting complex procedures like endodontics or prosthodontics is preferred. Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 32.0 per week
