```Duties``` We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during various dental procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
• Assist the dentist during dental procedures by handing them instruments and materials
• Take x-rays and chart existing teeth and treatment plan with doctor
• Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring and trimming models, fabricating temporary crowns, taking impressions, make bleaching trays.
• Provide post-operative instructions to patients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures
• Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality
• Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and answering phone calls

Skills:

• Proficient in assisting with pediatric and adult dental procedures
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and guidelines
• Strong assisting skills, including the ability to anticipate the needs of the dentist during procedures
• Experience with dental receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments.
• Competence in medical documentation using Dentrix software
