- 1 year of Dental Assistant experience
- Dental Radiology and CPR/First Aid certification
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, dentists, and team members
- Knowledge of modern office equipment, systems, and procedures
Preferred:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)

- Assist the dentist in providing care for patients, treating them with dignity and respect
- Take vital signs and review patient health history, updating as necessary
- Provide initial evaluations for emergency patients and complete medical consults
- Prepare and organize instruments and materials for procedures
- Assist in the transfer of instruments and preparation/delivery of dental materials
- Expose and process x-rays, retaking them when necessary
- Maintain and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and workspaces to ensure infection control
- Complete and review patient forms, consents, and treatment plans
- Provide patients with postoperative instructions and support
- Perform other duties as assigned, such as cleaning and organizing the clinic Language skill requirement or preference: Able to speak Spanish preferred.
