Required:
  • 1 year of Dental Assistant experience
  • Dental Radiology and CPR/First Aid certification
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, dentists, and team members
  • Knowledge of modern office equipment, systems, and procedures

Duties Include:
  • Assist the dentist in providing care for patients, treating them with dignity and respect
  • Take vital signs and review patient health history, updating as necessary
  • Provide initial evaluations for emergency patients and complete medical consults
  • Prepare and organize instruments and materials for procedures
  • Assist in the transfer of instruments and preparation/delivery of dental materials
  • Expose and process x-rays, retaking them when necessary
  • Maintain and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and workspaces to ensure infection control
  • Complete and review patient forms, consents, and treatment plans
  • Provide patients with postoperative instructions and support
  • Perform other duties as assigned, such as cleaning and organizing the clinic Language skill requirement or preference: Able to speak Spanish preferred.
