Responsibilities Assist dentist during a wide range of dental procedures, including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and treatments, using techniques to enhance efficiency. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring all equipment such as X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and medical imaging devices are ready for use. Take and develop digital X-rays while adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality. Manage patient records accurately using Eaglesoft, ensuring all medical documentation is complete and compliant with HIPAA standards. Maintain infection control protocols by practicing aseptic techniques, proper sterilization procedures, and knowledge of anatomy to ensure a safe clinical environment. Support the dental receptionist in scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient flow to optimize clinic operations.
